Welcome to Meeting 66 of the Junto club. On this episode, Shu is a man of many quotes to live by. We discuss the growing interest in peptides, and the conflict in Iran. Our main topic is lead by Matt, who read Capitalist Realism by Mark Fischer. The book argues that capitalism is inconsistent and untenable because of its threat to the environment, workers mental health, and the bureaucracy it has created. The text doesn’t offer any real solutions; instead, it’s a masterclass in identifying problems that continue to snowball. (Recorded on April 19, 2026)

On this episode, Shu introduces us to a new resource for hearing never-ending quotes in case music and white noise don’t work for you. Matt goes on a partisan rant. Our main topic of discussion was longevity. We talk about how we will die but how future generations may be able to avoid it through measurement. We close with a way to “immortality” for the modern man with a discussion of legacy.

We started with some excellent advice for living from Kevin Kelly, before we dived into the life of Robert Noyce, the founder of Fairchild Semiconductor and Intel. 

In this episode, we reflect on why experience only matters if it leads to growth rather than defeat.
